Born in Paris France, Annette made her  home in NYC. until her recent move to the Hudson Valley. At the age of 12 she began her art training with Anthony Trujillo, a master painter.  She attended Pratt Institute, received a B.F.A in fine arts where she  majored in painting and minored in jewelry making. For many years she worked as a costume jewelry designer in NYC and Providence R.I., working for manufacturers who sold to major chain stores across the country.

Annette has used oil paint, water colors and pastels for the majority of her artistic career always being inspired by nature. Her most recent journey has  been her forever love of photography. She uses the photo as an armature which she then manipulates on  the computer . The next process might be  printing on unorthodox papers or various veneers of aklyd or acrylics. It is photo based digital painting.

Her intention is to capture moments and freeze them in time.  The Hudson Valley area offers opportunities to photograph and be in nature daily. It has been a very exciting journey immersing herself  in the art scene that exists  outside of NYC while still continuing her NYC connections.

She has been exhibiting in various galleries in NYC,  Brooklyn,NY , Woodstock, NY, Long Island,  Kingston, NY,  Miami, Florida, Palm Beach, Florida,  Beacon, NY , Port Ewen, NY  New Rochelle, NY ,  Burlington,.Vermont,  New Brunswick, NJ.
